ANSWERED Stuck at the last hurdle - DVD Key

I am getting all the way through the flashing process as you can see from the log below. The last section should show the DVD Key and the drive verified but the flashing stops after Lite-On (see below).

Sending Lite-On-Erase request to port 0x0000
..............
Drive returned Status 0x0
....
Serial flash found with Status 0x72
Manufacturer ID: 0xC2
Device ID: 0x11
Flash Name: MXIC(MX25L2005)
Flash Size: 262144 bytes

Getting Status from port 0x0000
SPi flash found with Status 0x72

Sending Chip Erase to Port 0x0000
Erasing:
Writing target buffer to flash
Writing Bank 0: ................
Writing Bank 1: ................
Writing Bank 2: ................
Writing Bank 3: ................

Flash Verification Test !
Reading Bank 0: ................
Reading Bank 1: ................
Reading Bank 2: ................
Reading Bank 3: ................
Write verified OK !

Sending Vendor Outro to port 0x0000
Drive is Lite-On..

Any suggestions how how to fix this. I do have a copy of my DVD key and dummy.bin files.

Have you tired to see if your backups and originals work, i bet they do. I sometimes get that and sometimes i get the key verified message along with thanks C4EVA, not sure of the ins and outs but im sure someone else will be able to tell you why.

Just click outro a couple of times
Why click outro a couple of times? It states already sending vendor outro to port etc, drive i a liteon. Clicking the outra a couple of time is for the slims

There is no other end to this flashing process as ive already stated sometimes you get the above end to a flash and other times you will get the key verified thanks c4va

---------- Post added at 20:36 ---------- Previous post was at 20:34 ----------

It is also showing that the DVD key is still not found.
Where does it say dvd key not found?

Try the drive with an original and a backup, ill bet it works, ill have a look and try to find the post that says why you dont see the key verified message.

After a quick search using a great search engine, it has something to do with updateing from LT1.9, where the drives got falshed to stock F/W, and i believe it has to do with you not redumping your key as you already have it from before the update. Hope that makes sense.

Im sure i will be corrected by some of the pros on here if its wrong but believe me when i say you log is normal and its nothing to be worried about.

It has been stated plenty of times by team xecuter and team jungle that sometimes you have to click outro a couple of times as sometimes drives just don't outro correctly sometimes. Hang on I'll find it in the tut

Yes but it already tells you on the JF log that its outrod and the drive is a liteon on!

As ive previously said it will work, this has come about after the update where the F/W on the liteon drives where changed, it was advised (but not necassary) to redump you FW, if you do that then you would get the key verified thanks C4Eva message, if you just continued to use your prviously dumped key then you just get the standard write verified drive is a liteon.

A failed outro will still say drive is a liteon but I can see what you mean Justice and it may work but the way I understand th OP is that this is the first time the drive has been flashed and the first time he has flashed a drive.

Hopefully he has a full JF log to post if the drive doesn't work

No dramas. The JF log he gets is exactlly the same as mine, if he was to try the drive it should work.

That is based on the assumption he used an old dummy.bin or OFW and this wasn't a virgin flash or he is on a old dash

have you tried the drive in your console...if yes and it works what is the issue ???
if not , then something isn't right
as in post linked by justice...old dummy.bin (pre 13146) doesn't automatically come up as verified!

and it would be smarter to post the whole jf log , not just part of it !
