Stuck in Xell Reloaded Hell

I made this video to show my situation more easily. I can get into Xell reloaded but nothing else. I have tried setting upn usb stick for xexmenu insall, dash launch insall, or FSD install. Anything! i been looking at Xell Reloaded 4 days and its blowing my high.:facepalm:

Thanks in advance for clear directions and especially if anyone would not mind sending me a ready to go archive for usb with all files set with little to no tweaking needed.

Ok - so you dumped the NAND and now flashed an ecc file over, giving you XeLL Reloaded.

What did you do after this?

i built a freeboot glitch image in the jtag tool and flashed with jtag tool and i also made pig made image and tried flashing it in jtag tool. i have also seen many tuts on ggbuild and xebuild and multibuilder and pig program. i have flashed through xell reloaded as well by placing nandflash next to xenon.elf. i know nothing else. so in answering your question i have tried many things

Talk me through the steps.

What did you flash? What tool did you use? How did you write it back?

If you've been at this for 4 days, you'll need to start from the top.

1. read nand with nand-x using jtag tool
2. created ecc image in jtag tool
3. booted xell which was wonderful to me at first glance
4. got cpukey
5. made freeboot image with pig program using first nand read and cpukey(i used pig because jtag tool would not verify cpukey with first nand read)
6. flashed image with jtag tool to nand

after that didnt produce a way into a custom dash i started on like ive done something wrong with nand. but i did see that xell was still working. i seen the ip address.discovered how to get properdump and did and have proceeded to use program after program trying the original nand read and xelldump version. i have even reflashed the original nand read which is only 16mb big and was able to see retail dash again

OK - I finally watched your video. So you don't get anything when booting with the power button.

What does 360 Flash Dump Tool say about your original NAND dump? Can you post a screen shot and if there's a bad block tab, click on it so I can see the content?

Really odd too, considering all the RGH I done Xell turns black and white once the hacked image was installed.

Now, I had problems trying to flash through xell reloaded. I solved by flashing with Nand-X and Nandpro.

Also make sure you're using rawflash 4. It solved one other problem on a board I did.

i have tried rawflash v4. i have not tried nandpro yet. not big on cmd prompts but ill do what i must.
my first nand read crashes 360 flash tool a lot

heres my nand reads original and xell dump' cpukey and kvinfo. if you are willing to create my image that will boot into nxe when powernis played and direct me from there it would help me to male my lids holidays much better

Your LDV is wrong. Cant see it clear, Xell shows something around 10.
Flash Dump Tool shows 0/1.

Yeah change your LDV to 9 and you might be good to go by the looks of it. Original dump shows as 9. Thats if you build a 13599 image.

If you upgrade your dash to 14699 with multibuilder 0.7 the LDV should increase to 10 I think. Hopefully Martin can verify that

thanks for all the replies i appreciate it. i have no idea how to go in and change ldv. what is the most noob friendly approach to fixing my problem. i would rather see my wrongs because i have 1 more coolrunner for my living room console. this jasper has put me through ringer

Nope, dont increase it. If its 9, it stays 9.

check Patch Headers
change LDV of 6BL Patch 0 to 9
click OK and save file

I was hesitant to ask for help. I always scour around google for answers and never try blogs. I encourage anyone with any questions to ask after you have tried to gather as much intel as you can first through previous posts, of course. These guys addressed my problems like flies on poo.

ps my jasper was a big block 16mb which did play games on my assurance and confidence from the getgo. If you looked at it you would have been sure it was a 256 or 512.

this was it. i did exactly as you advised. rebuilt with the new pig and im in. now to learn how to setup 1tb. hopefully i wont have to start a post for that as im sure there is an excellent tutorial i could find
