stuck on update screen

ur usb stick should be FAT or Fat32 formatted then put $SystemUpdate folder to the root of a usb stick,just have the 1 update folder needed

it is fat32 i reformatted usb before i added folder to usb to be sure there wasnt anything in it

ok so tried sync and power----doesnt work

tried re-downloading and applying update---not working

tried other updates----not working

if martin cant figure it out im not sure if anyone can. sounds like a simple update loop but simple is not very simple sometimes..
hopefully it is simple... i turned on my console once... and after that its been stuck...

I have run into this problem before and tried everything before finally resorting to rgh and building a stock firmware update below the latest update then booting it up and updating with the latest via usb . This has worked twice for me so maybe your only option at this point :) Both of the ones i had issues with were 256mb jaspers with bad blocks but should work for any console i would think if you know someone who can help

is this highly difficult??? i havent really read into it after i read i needed to open console and use a tool to get cpu key

no i mean what dash was it running before you updated. figured you could try the last dashboard update that was running but you probably already tried that
