Is u'r DVD drive flashed with Lt. firmware? I had an update loop that wouldn't go last a certain point until I had worked it had some old lt. Firmware on it. Otherwise as has been suggested, build a new 16547 dash with RGH. It may be worth just getting a modder to do it for u if its a one off.

is this highly difficult??? i havent really read into it after i read i needed to open console and use a tool to get cpu key
i would suggest sending it to someone with experience in rgh just for safeties sake but it is possible to do it yourself if you have fair skills in soldering and can follow instructions lol ..... also need a few tools to communicate with the xbox . overall it would be cheaper to send it to a experienced repairman then to buy all the tools to do it yourself :)

yeah you tried that i haven't had this error code before and im not even sure if its a dash update sounds like just a game update but im not sure. but i would imagine if you do as bigassblazer said and rgh the console and read the nand and rebuild a new retail nand you will be ok because we dont know what its on know it could be on 16202 or 16547 or whatever but when you put a spi programmer on it and read the nand out it will tell you what its on and you can extract the files from the nand to rebuild a new retail nand for it. read this sticky by game_over to find out what console you have and let us know http://team-xecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=137209

oops you have a corona motherboard but you still need to know whether you have post out or not so you will know whether or not to get a post-fix adapter and since the console did not come with a hard drive im assuming you have a 4 gig corona which means you need an 4gb r/w sd kit and a couple other things if you decide to go this route

what is the manufactured date on the back of the console?
also you say you cant find anyone with skills because you are on a small island but all you need to do is ship it to someone on this forum most of which could easily rgh the console and create a new retail nand out of your old one and flash it to the console for a small fee plus shipping both ways and you would be back up and running most likely. or you could look in to having the rgh stay in the console so you can run unsigned code which is awesome. but no more xbox live if you do that.
