I know this is going to sound dumb, but it's completely going over my head right now...

What does it mean by "Connect in series" when talking about adding the 10 OHM resistor to CPU_RST?

Like do I add one end of the resistor to the wire from D and the other to the CR pad. Or do I add one end to the pad and the other to ground?

Like I said, stupid question, just went right over my head....

Yes, it will look like this: PAD - Resistor - Wire - CPU_RST pad.
Thanks, that's what I originally thought:) I just wasn't very sure because there wasn't any pictures to back up my idea and I didn't want to take the chance of screwing it up.

Also, does it matter what direction the resistor is facing? I know there is normally a gold band or something on one side of it, does that mean that end is positive?

I really don't know too much about resistors, if you have any threads or articles I could read on them I would greatly appreciate it:)

Thanks again!

It's basic electronics, plenty of good books you can buy on the subject.

Resistors do not have polarity, so any way round is fine.

Thanks again. I will look into kits and stuff for building PCB's and such one day when I have the money to throw around. It just seems like all the kits you find are for little kids(or at least that's what they look like)

I pressed the +rep button and it didn't do anything, I also thanked your posts:)

Ahhh go searching on the internet for circuits to build if you want to get into that sort of thing, plenty of stuff out there that is far from kids stuff, although I will agree that the all-in-one kits are geared towards kids, and pretty much just make you solder compenents in, which doesn't teach you much at all, better to build a circuit from the breadboard up imo, so you'll not only know what it does, but why it's doing what it's doing.
