Hi,

i just got back from the shop and this dude built in my coolrunner plus the 2 qsb's. I am very satisfied so far even thou i haven't installed anything.
It takes usually about 7 sec then the green lights blink and my regular Xbox dash launches.
I noticed i cannot restore my gamer tag.
I have it backed up and months ago i was able to restore it with the exact same files but when i am now in the dash the console doesn't find the gamer tag at all.
1. I created a usb drive in the dash, then copied the hidden Xbox dir with my files to the stick and put it in my console but nothing found.
2. 2nd try I formated the stick instead of xbox in the pc and copied the dir over but still nothing found.
I don't get it since it worked previously :(

Before I want to install Freestyle dash or anything similar, whats your favorite? whats the most used?

Haha i got made fun of in the shop for using xecuter products..

Glad you finally got it installed :)

Freestyle is the best :)

I'm not much of a gamer myself, so I'm afraid I cant help you with your gamer tag problem.

everything is according to xecuter except i chose your ground(black wire).its workin well, when the console is off i still see a red light inside 1st i thought its the cooler but then i figured it must be the cr...guess its always red as long as the power plug is inserted even if the console is turned off...

under settings->memory ->all memory i guess its called

Your going to need to put your profile on a fat32 formatted USB stick. I'll get the path here in a second. It's under content im pretty sure.

I'm not at home so I can't figure it out right now but take your hdd plug it in to the computer use horizon or party buffalo and inject in the content folder you will need to create a folder with the exact number sequence this is your profile id then place the actual profile in this folder. I'm not 100 percent right now but that's fairly close.

Normally you would have a gamer tag on a hard drive and to transfer it you would plug in a USB Thumb Drive, go to Settings > Memory > USB Device > Configure for XBOX. Then go to your hard drive under Memory and click Y to transfer content. Transfer over the Gamer Tags and whatever else you wanted (saves, avatars, etc). Once it's on the USB and off the hard drive you would do the reverse process on the new hard drive or a different XBOX. I do this process on all BB Jaspers I RGH so I know the process well.

However if you have a 4GB Slim you could just save Gamer Tags to that and not have to transfer anything.

it still doesnt work.

I got my console glitched with cr. before i had a 500gb hdd inside where i was able to use 320gb.
after the glitch i took it out and had to format it with usbpro to go back to 500GB. now its in the xbox again and it says 298gb. i got my savegames and gamertag backed up. its a hidden "xbox360" dir with Data0000->Data0003. its on my pc. so i allocated the same size to my newly in xbox dash formated usb stick and copied and overwrote Data0001-Data0003.
the dir is still hidden and put it in my xbox and it found nothing :(
I dont get it, what am i doing wrong?
So far i havent installed any dash or something to my xbox. it always boots into the normal dashboard.

i backed it up like 2 months ago to a usb stick and then i transferred the whole folder to an external backup hdd.
i copied the dir from the external hdd to my pc desktop, from there i copy the files to the usb stick i created with xbox dash.

is it normal that it only shows 298gb in xbox dash but 460.88GB in xexmenu?

WNYConsoles can you sent me the pdf tut you sent bandit? i successfully installed xexmenu 1.1 to hdd1 and i was able to start it from demoes without the install cd in the console anymore...now i want to setup internet to ftp and avoid accidental live connections

I had the same problem plus the kinect update was removed just after glitching I did the following and it fixed it:

1- Format a usb into fat 32
1- place dashboard update files for the same dash you already have
3- Rename the file from $systemupdate into $$ystemupdate
4- place it into your console and accept the update it should fix any corruption in your NXE

Will this screw my nand or create any new work after reinstalling my dash?

Try this:

1. Remove harddisk

2. Boot up console

3. Plug in USB stick

Be sure that you have downloaded the same dash version files that youre on now.

1.
I installed Xexmenu,FSD and updated it, Dashlaunch.
I have a question now about the hdd. I have a 500GB hdd that i hddhacked before i glitched to 320GB. that worked back then.
Then after i glitched i hacked the hdd again with undo.bin in windows using x360usb pro. then i had 500 gb in windows.
i put the hdd back into my xbox and in xbox dash it says 298GB. in Xexmenu it says 480,66GB but used space like approx. 190GB.
I have nothing installed so far, no games or so on, just the dashboards. why is it like that and how can i fix this to use the whole 500GB?

FIXED
I had to take the hdd out and hook it up to the pc and format it to FAT32 (since its 500GB i used EASEUS Partition Master) and NOT NTFS, like advised from my modder.
Then you have to put it back into the console and format with it again in the xbox menu.

2.
Also the GamerTag issue is fixed, i used Horizon and injected all the files and rebooted. Then it worked but i had to fix avatar with

1- Format a usb into fat 32
1- place dashboard update files for the same dash you already have
3- Rename the file from $systemupdate into $$ystemupdate
4- place it into your console and accept the update it should fix any corruption in your NXE

After that it worked.

Took me the whole day to figure this sh out and also did other things like install FSD... hope someone who comes across the same issues can use this info :)
