I've done several mods and never had this happen. installed the chip, flashed it, loaded slayer 2.6, used it about a dozen times. Now power switch and eject switch doesn't work. Anyone had this happen and had a solution. Thanks for the input ahead of time.

never happened to me... maybe you have one of those xboxs with the sh*tty psu that burns out... take the psu out and look on the underside and see if there are burn marks where you plug the cord in!
I have had this problem a few times. EVery time there was a short somewhere. (A short is a joint of two or more connections.)

Do you know that it takes about 15 actual rep points given before your rep level goes up by one? And so basically you have just cancelled out the last 15 rep points that I had been given! That was a lot of typing and being helpful to people. So thanks a LOT!

Do the newer XBOX's have a cheaper psu? I'm wondering because the two box's I've had the chip in were dated last fall and every box i've done before that were over a year old.
