suggestions on what to do with SD card

hey im new to the switch and custom firmware. so i have my switch on firmware 5.x and sx os on 2.8. my current SD card is 256 GB formatted in fat32 and would like to start using exfat. how would i go about in doing so? was thinking about booting in OFW and installing a SD card formatted in exfat and doing the update of the OFW. then booting in SX OS but not sure if that will prevent me from using CFW. thanks .

search for ChoiDujour app this lets you update SO YOU CAN USE EXFAT WITHOUT update ofw make sure you update the emunand only
