hello everybody,
i need some suggestions from many xbox experts.
i purchased a 1.2 motherboard w/power supply for $14.95. i inspected the motherboard and the power supply and everything looked okay. so i hooked it up and booted and everything was okay. and i was able to play some games without trouble.
i then installed X3 and everything was complete success. i was able to backup my game on the hard drive and played it for last few days.
however, today when i turned it on, everything seems to be going okay, i.e sound and hard drive is active and i can launch games from avalunch, however i have no video. i have not mess with the eeprom or change the video setting.
i checked for the obvious such as a/v cable, missing or damage components on the motherboard and could not find anything wrong. also i tried several different bio's such as X3 1959, evo m8, x2 4983, cromwell via pro switch and work perfectly except for the video.
could it be the video encoder that is bad? if so how can i check it? what other problem exhibit this kind of behavior.
can it be fixed?
thank you.
