Suggestions please

A little background info:

I flashed my LiteOn DS-16D4S (9504) slim drive flashed using JF and xbox360pro. My son put in a game with a newer system update from a friend and updated it (he's only 8 years old) I was on dashboard 12625 he panicked and shut off the system, it got caught in the system update so I had to continue with a usb install of the update. The update worked and put me on dash 13599. When I went to flash again I was now on version 0272 with the SPI locked. Since I was locked out, in my great wisdom I decided to system update to the latest dash 16747.

My Question:

1. I can get a hold of a LiteOn DS-16D4S pcb that is unlocked (I have my dvdkey etc.). I have found a unlocked pcb that says it is compatible with LiteOn DS-16D4S with 0225. (can I still use given that my drive is now 0272)

2. If I buy this unlocked pcb and flash with latest available FW will I be able to play some newer titles?

3. Are there any alternative suggestions to get us back up and running

1. You can use any 16d4s PCB, as long as it is unlocked
2. Yes.
3. U need to unlock the drive, so either unlock the original PCB with kamikaze hack or Sputnik hack method depending on your chip. Or easy way like u said get an already unlocked PCB.
