I have a Lite-on 8k that I fried the PCB on trying to update and went out and bought another lite-on 8k off of ebay. I flashed the new drive with my old key and 1.9 and all works great. however i get a "cannot read disk" error after about 15-20 mins of playing. I believe its the laser in the new drive that needs to be replaced.

I have my old 8k still and as far as I can tell just the PCB is messed up. So....

Should I put the new PCB in the old drive or put the old drive's laser in the new drive?

Experiences? Ease?

Help is always appreciated.

Thanks!
