Swaping from 1.6b

Hello, I've got a 1.6b XBOX and X3 with FlashBIOS 3.0.0, so I have blank screen, now I need to flash X3 from my 2nd XBOX, wich is a 1.2 and has a X2.2 Pro.

Do I need to do all installation of X3 on the XBOX 1.2 or only soldering a new pin header will do the trick ? Do I have to connect the power eject no solder cable ?

Oki i am relly confused. I have read the x box 360 for dummies and was still abit confused. The version i have is 00046DH. i was just wondering if you need the slax cd. also i was wondering do i need to change it into mode B. if i have to do or not do any of these can u please tell me furthur instructions.

As far as i was aware all drive regardless of make have to be in Mode B or Vendor mode. Its basically the mode the drive must be in to be re-programmed\flashed with other firmware.

thats an outdated tutorial, download the jungleflasher tutorial, no need for slax disc or anything like that
