Swaping Hitachi for Hitachi

Say I want to swap my Hitachi 79 drive with a Hitachi 47 drive.

How would I go about doing this?
Could I just simply switch the drives?

No you would have to copy the key from the 79 drive to the 47 drive and then spoof it to show up as a 79 drive.
