LITEON 74850 swapping 74850 with old 83850cv2 will work?

ok so Im not really a noob to this but sence i have no posts I have to post here, anyways heres my senerio.

i just got a new xbox because my old one is banned, the new one has a lite on 74850c in it, i updated to the newest dash so its now changed to a 02510c, i went to flash it and seen that i never got the key from it, so from what ive read i need a probe to get the key sence i dont have the dummy.bin from an older firmware(if this is correct), and it is now switched to a 02510c and i cant create a dummy.bin now without the probe to my understanding. so if this is the case,( tell me if im wrong) can i use my old dvd drive from my banned console? it is a lite on 83850v2 and i have the old dummy.bin and key for that one, and its been now switched to 02510c like all of the liteons, so will it work if i use that one for the new xbox? also is this safe online or a insta ban? can this be done without the risk of being flagged or banned? any help would be greatly appreciated

you need the key that goes to the xbox your trying to put a drive into.if drives liteon yes u need probe 3,yes 85*** board will work fine jus flash a dummy build of 02510c v3.0 and spoof ur key into it.

so i can use my old 85*** dvd dummy.bin key, and use that on the new 75** as long as the new one has a key? so the keys arnt matched to the xbox itsself just the drives right?

The hardware in the Phat Liteon drives is all the same. The only difference is the firmware (which you will be writing with Jungle Flasher) and the unique key.

So, yes. You can use your dummy.bin, key, and the current stock or LT 3.0+ formware for Phat Liteon drives.

However, both the motherboard and the DVD drive have to have that same unique key. You will need to either swap the PCB between the drives or flash the key and correct firmware to your new drive.

every xbox has a unique dvd drive key,so u need the key from the xbox itself,meaning get the key from the drive that was in the xbox,then flash that key over to your replacement drive.

so basically I need to get the prob 3 for the new dvd drive(new xbox) because I dont have the dummy.bin before the dash updates and the dvd key is for that mother board only, and the old xbox i cant use that dvd key that i do have the dummy.bin for, because thats attached to the old xbox and mother board and banned. And as far as I've read you can only get the key from a now 02510c (new drive) that has never been flashed is to use the probe 3, sounds about the outcome I was thinking

yes u need key from the xbox,not the old drive,and a probe 3 for getting the key,works on any liteon phat drive,not just 02510c.hope this helps

Already been flashed or not, as long as you do not have the dummy.bin, you need to extract it first, and for that you need a Probe 3 and a compatible sata.
