I have a system that has a broken drive.
I need to swap the drive because one of the stoppers has broken so when it ejects, the tray comes completely out on one side.
Question, if I swap the dg-16d4s drive for another dg-16d4s drive from another Xbox system, it will not play games correct?
Now, one of the solutions to fix this, would be to take the motherboard of the original dg-16d4s and solder it to the new dg-16d4s replacement, correct?
Will this be the only thing needed to get everything to work properly?
