Swapping broken jtagable's CPU to working non-jtagable xbox

So, i sent 2 xboxes into a shop to get reballed. It turns out, one of them, the GPU chip was fuxed up. So the guy said he would give me a totally new xbox that is jtagable. He said he didn't have any jtagable xboxes, but he did have some working non-jtagable xboxes, and that he would just swap the CPU from the broken one to the working one to make the working one be jtagable! So i was like okay, cool. But then, i saw this: http://forums.xbox-experts.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=2713

And i read it and pure said i need to insert the jtagable's KV and config in the non-jtagable one for it to work. And i also saw this: http://team-xecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?p=317850

And they didn't say anything about KV's and configs. So i wanna know what i have to do nand related after the guy puts the CPU into the working xbox.

PS. I have all the info for the broken jtagable xbox, including CPU key, DVD key, original nand, ect.

Re: Swapping CPU + Nand Chip to Make Motherboard Jtagable
You will have to make sure that the jtaggable CPU which is going onto the good board is compatible. If you were to put a xenon CPU into a jasper board, it might have power issues (I think).

I don't recommend that you swap the actual NAND chips because a member here did that and it didn't work.

Instead, just dump the NAND from both boards and then just insert the keyvault and rawconfig data of the donor into the recipient NAND.

Obviously, you'll have to be able to reball the chips.

You need to extract the keyvault from the exploitable NAND and inject it into the destination NAND.

yeah, i saw that, but didnt really understand it... i get putting the KV and config in the non-jtagable nand, but i also have to swap CPU's?

That what you wanted to know smurf seen as your swapping over your CPU to a working board you have to do nothing to it who ever is fitting it just needs to make sure he fits it right thats all bro.
the nand dump has all the info for that CPU that you swapped so you inject your nand info into the donor nand where your move the CPU to then it will recognize the CPU, well providing there is no complications along the way.

i was pointing out that jtags are fairly cheap and theyre not worth the price of a reball. i threw 5 jtags away last month cause they needed a reball. unless theyre a jasper then theyre crap, simples.

ive been picking up jtag consoles for about £40.00 here in the UK and most of them are M$ returns with mainly drive problems.... yep ive also had several where insides have been change and ive ended up with a duff non repairable console... 2008/9 consoles case with first gen motherboards...

so the trouble your going thru with reballs and swapping every trhing over aint just worth it as they can be picked up quite cheaply

cpu's are interchangeable between motherboards that are the same rev. also as said just dump and write the nand no need to swap it just the info on it.

The cpu and nand data are paired together.

i just did this, flashing the original nand to the new falcon board and swapping the cpu

the cpu swap was successful, however when i flash the matching nand i get a solid light but it stays that way for a very long time about 2 mins or so before i turn it off

i flashed the the nand that was originally on the board and i get 0020, so that means the nand does not match the cpu which is obviously correct

when i flash xell, the box turns on and ejects the tray but shows nothing on screen

i am using the boxxdr wiring method which i have used 8 times without issue
