I bought an xbox from a guy that had the wrong drive in it and wanted to know if I have a trash zenon that has an dash of 7371 or lower can I copy it to a zenon with dash 8955. Or has anyone came out with a way to get the DVD key from a 8955 dash.

if you do not have the key for the 8955 then there is no way to get the key
its now a dvd player or for parts..
if you have 7371 or lower you can get the key from it and put the drive from the 8955 into the 7371 console..

I dont have a 7371 but was just wanting to find out I know I could find one with some problem cheap and hoping I could just steal the KV and put it on mine that works.
no to swap a KV you need the CPU key
