Swapping Toshiba Ts-H943 MS25 With Hitachi 3120l-0046dg

Hello I am trying to swap a toshiba Samsung Ts MS25 model for an Hitachi GDR 0046dg. I got the key info off the samsung saved it. Loaded the Hitachi Drive Info. Did a manual Spoof of the samsung info to the Target Source. Did manual Spoof under hitachiGDR tab on JF. Now when I try to use it on the Xbox it says Unrecognized Disc. Please help Thank you Also when I have it load the drives info into the Source Buffer It reads as spoofed to the samsung and displays the right key.

original drive has open tray error. Figured I could quickly swap the drive instead of trying to repair considering I have an extra Hitachi drive anyways. So your saying don't spoof just flash the key over?

All you need to do is flash LT+ to the new hitachi and then flash key DO NOT SPOOF!!
Leave the revision as it is.

This will allow you to play games offline only.

How do you know for sure the Laser is the cause of the open tray error? I do not like to try 500 things on something to make it work. I would love to just swap the drive and worry about the other one at a later time when need be.

Now I can't get JF to do anything with the drive. Everything says Toshiba TS and its a Hitachi Drive. However under the MKT tab it does now let me intro the device. and under the HITACHI tab is does not let me send to mode B or dump drive info. I have no Idea how to get it back to stock Hitachi Info.

Open tray error 99% is a bad laser. Laser are a farely cheap price and no hassle with spoofing. The only other reason you could be getting open tray is your drive motor that spins the disc is bad or the motor that moves the laser back and forth is bad.
