Hi all,
I’m sorry if my question has been asked several times. I searched in forums, tried several advices, but my problem is still there.

I installed a new game today, which asked an update of the Switch.
I installed ChoixduJour on the SD card (root) and put the firmware on the same card.
I tried to put the firmware files in a new folder, but, when i lauched the homebrew choix du jour, i was not able to go into this folder, because it appeared like a file.
So I put the files in an existing folder (/Nintendo). Maybe it was a mistake.
The installation of the firmware was OK, and the homebrew said that I had to reboot, and I chose to shutdown.
I put the dongle and jig, used volume + and power like always.
I saw the beginning of the usual process : the logo of sx os, but suddenly the console stopped and it shut down.
Since then, i am unable to power it on. I tried everything i saw (power on during 15 seconds, then power on ; using the cable and not the dock station ; volume +/_ and power).
My Switch seems dead.
Do you thing i can try something else ?
Thank you for your answers

I forgot to said that, before installation of the new firmware, i updates sx os with the beta version. I installed the firmware after this process.

Update : when i was writing this message, the switch was charging. I tried to power it on again and the switch asked for a boot (i removed the sd card). When i put the sd card, i was able to lauch the beginning of the process (logo), But just pressing the power button, but it went back directly to the black screen after the logo.
I am not able to power the switch on by pressing volume + and power.

Final update : if i charge the dongle a few second, press power for 12 seconds, and then press volume + and power : i go to the sx os menu !
- if i choose to boot on original firmware, everything goes black
- if i choose to boot on custom fireware, i see the nintendo logo, and goes to black screen.
That’s all for my updates :)

Sounds like maybe you have autoRCM enabled. That can cause the switch to take a while to charge if the battery dies.

As for the other issue, is your SD formatted exFAT? If so you need to make sure you pick exFAT when updating with Choi, otherwise the switch will not be able to read the SD card.
