Switch Firmware 6.1.0 working with SX Pro Dongle or not?

I have read many people have issues since updating to 6.1.0.. Some people are writing that NSPs aren't working anymore. Some have blackscreens when booting the switch in cfw--and so on..

I didn't update yet, because I was worried that NSP Files, or XCI files aren't working anymore when I make the update via the menu under "system-update".

Is there definitive proof that the 6.1.0 firmware is working for my SX OS Pro? I am on SX OS Firmware: 2.0.1. the stable version. My micro SD is exfat formatted.

Mine was patched toexFAT on 3.1

What happen if you format your SD card to exFAT with no files on it and boot Switch normal ?

Using sx pro it wont start at all, and have some strange boot to black screen/shutdown, but i for some reason notice last night there was something calling xci cutter, which helped me to get something running on fat32.

Im interested in the new usb stick/disk in the new firmware but would be nice if it was possible to use the usb port that is on the docking station since i normally play on tv :)

Ye i saw that, sadly since i came in to the game to late im waiting to see if there will be any patches that works from 6.1.

Same here. I can't even boot into SX Bootloader.

SX Pro works on 6.1

The only problem i have had is with exfat, is that i have to first boot switch normaly with the card in it before i can use it with sx pro/boot.dat

The exFAT support prompt should already be present if you were using a 64gb card and above with exFAT file system when 5.1.0 was available..

Latest SX OS works great on 6.1.0. No issues at all. Using exFAT format. Game updates and all working.

Hi guys,

Sorry a newbie here. Just wanted to check on how to update to 6.1.0 with ChoiDujourNX and I have SX Pro.

Basically i copy the ChoiDujourNX and the Firmware 6.1 into my SD card and subsequently run the ChoiDujourNX in my album and install the Firmware right? Do I need to do any backup or not?
Secondly, in future firmware updates, can I go online and install from Nintendo the subsequent updates (e.g. 6.2) if my 6.1 was installed using this method? i.e will Nintendo find out that my 6.1 wasnt installed through "normal means"?

As soon as you try to get any update from official "Greedtendo" servers, you'll be welcomed with a ban code. This means you have been ejected, permanently. You'll be better offline permanent and, if you ever feel a need of using that sh*tty service you can always have a second console where you only play genuine cartridges and buy from their "GreedShop"...

Did you update manually/offline or did you make the update online? I don't get it how to update offline and online's not working in the sx ox menu. any advice?

Okay. You should mention your objective first and then come out with questions about updating OFW to latest. You were also asking for proof if latest OFW works okay with SX OS and people came and told you (including me) we weren't having any issue. Than you asked later if the updates were done offline/online. I came out with a suggestion of the guide written by a member of this site, which is good and that's how I got into the lastest OFW being banned and unable to go online.

Than you tell me I am not right because the whole point of all this is that you want to transfer your Greedtendo account to your new console.

As far as I know both consoles need to be able to go online on OFW, in order to do a proper transfer of your account. But maybe there's another way, from here I wouldn't know. But someone may know...

Okay first things first. SORRY i totally forgot to thank you. The link was really helpful and i got the OFW on 6.1.0 without connecting to the internet. Thanks very much for that. Normally i don't forget to thank ppl but i am ill atm and maybe my brain isn't working as it should._.

My objective at first was to see if anyone has proof that the sx os is working on 6.1.0 before updating. First i wanted to update online, but then i have read that many were banned, so i got the other way around and used your link. All is working fine so far.

with my sh*t nintendo account i did the online thing for trasnfering because i couldnt find any other way, but not banned until now. let's see if they ban me or not, but as for now- and i can't thank you enough :) It's working fine on ofw 6.1.0 and cfw's working as well.
