I just wanted to know if I could switch the hard drive from my old box with a executer 2.6 into my new box with an x3. I mean I know I can switch them but will the programs and backedup games still work. if anyone has experience with this let me know how things worked out or why exactly it doesnt because as far as I know there shouldnt be a problem.

You can use conductive glue, or a conductive pen to bridge the cuts. I find the probe 2 to be the easiest/safest method, it still requires cutting though.. Plus, I'm pretty good at soldering, and I prefer soldering instead of that goopy crap. lol
