ANSWERED Switch HDD To modded console

Alright. I have two consoles. One that I am planning to mod here shortly (Falcon mobo dash. 16197), and another that I am not messing with just yet (corona V3 dash 16537).

I am wanting to take the HDD out of the Slim and stick it on the Phat when I mod it. Is there anything that I will have to do to the HDD to get it fully functional? Or is it as simple as a Plug-N-Play kinda thing.

I am wanting to keep all of my info from the HDD (gamertag, GOD games, XBLA games, etc.) and use it on the modded console. Will this cause problems?

Also, I think the Falcon is flagged for ban, will I still be able to update to 16537 after I mod the console, or am I doomed to stay at 16197?

Alright, thanks for the heads up. So, I would need to take everything off the HDD first, then reapply it after it is switched to the modded console? Or am I not understanding something?

Shweet. Thank you, definitely wanting to keep Skyrim and Dark Souls. As well as a lot of other things. Looks like I have some work to do. Haha
