Hello everobody,

I soldered a SX core on my Switch, everything was OK unless the SX OS can't be booted, it stucks at boot.dat?. I tried with 2 micro sd cards and the result was the same, so I thought there was a problem with my soldering. I retried, desoldered, but unfortunately I broke the capacitor on SP2. But luckily, the Switch always runs without problem. I have now find that it wasn't the problem of soldering but a problem of the micro sd card, I changed a new one and sx os boots without problem. So my question is: can we let the Switch without the capacitor on SP2??? If not do you have the reference of this capacitor?

Thanks and best regards

No always on my Switch, by pressing the sx core to have the good contacts (without resoldering). I have now my Switch totally working with the Sx core, buts
the capacitor on SP2 has lost

hello, as it happened to me both on sp1, that on sp2, I wanted to share the experience and ask for opinions (unfortunately I had to remove the left core that was ruined but the switch however the switch continues to work, I tried to play a little Mario Odissey and it went smoothly), my situation is this:

My question is: wanting to replace the caps, the sp1 is equal to the 'sp2? (1uf size 0201 6,3v) , since the switch works and I ordered another sx core, would it work by soldering the sx core directly on sp1 and sp2 without caps? (I’m afraid to solder the caps you need someone really very capable considering how small they are)
