I have my RGH to boot straight into FreeStyle. Tut's for that were uberifically easy to locate. Well how about changing it back to boot the default xbox dash? That one is not so easy to find? And I tried holding RB, LB, RT, LT and none of those were able to do the trick either.

Simple, go to dash launch and remove the default boot setting, reverse what you did before :)

Open paths, select default, and then browse into the flash memory and find the xex for the dashboard and set that. Then you're good to go :)

LOL - I feel it was MUCH simpler to set FreeStyle as default than to reverse this. The big bugger that was hindering me was knowing where the default dash .xex was stored. In the flash -- dear me, who would have thought to look there!

Dash launch usually has FSD set to default and nxe set to one of the bumpers as a default config. Like said before, run the dashlaunch configurator or manually edit your .ini file. U can also get back to nxe using the home options (system/ family sertings etc). U can also set any .xex to run from the controller if u want to boot straight to your favourite apps.

I copy the dash.xex from flash folder into homebrew folder then make the path in settings. Then nxe shows up in homebrew section :)
I like that idea - but I do not see my homebrew folder, in any location other than my FSD dash?

Are you using the default theme or a custom one? It should be on the same page as the 360 Game selection.

On your hdd create a folder called homebrew, then nxe folder and put in in there..then in settings add that directory and check just the homebrew box and save it

And yes thats just for launching nxe from freestyle

I see the Homebrew folder while running Freestyle, but I do not know how to copy in the .xex file other than using XEX Menu and that is where I do not see Homebrew folder.
