Hey guys I posted on here the other day about a faulty Liteon drive I had. I actually managed to source a working drive from a friend and now plan on switching it with the faulty one. I've definitely done this once before, but I've completely forgotten the method.

I thought I just loaded the current dummy.bin in the source and the dummy.bin of the faulty drive in Target and then flashed, but it's not letting me do this. Am I remembering incorrectly?

The Xbox is on the latest dash so the faulty drive would now be a 02510C, is that right? The new drive is a spare that a friend bought off eBay a few months ago so I'm thinking its possibly still a 74850 but unsure.

Edit: In JF it tells me the replacement drive is a 74850.

Load the dummy.bin from the faulty drive in the source. In target jf will autoload LTPlus-0251-v3.0.bin and spoof source to target.

If jf will not autoload for some reason, you need to find LTPlus-0251-v3.0.bin manualy in your firmware pack and spoof it.

If you want stock firmware use 02510C instead LTPlus-0251-v3.0

I totally forgot it was that easy! Thanks for the reply. It's about a year since I've done it and I couldn't for the life of me remember how I did it.
