Switching HDD for XBL

Ok i was just wondering if i could switch Hard Drives for Xbox Live. Yes I realize it would be a pain in the @$$ to switch them everytime I wanted to play XBL but this would prevent me from being banned right?

Or could I get a new IDE cable and configure it to load certain Hard Drives depending on how I start the chip up?

AFAIK... You as long as you switch back to the original hard drive you signed up with, you wont get banned.

I dont know if there is an IDE cable that will switch them.... I know that there is an xtender (addon) That lets you switch....

theres also just a way of either switching the power to each.....with the box off of course...or a complete ide switch but those arent cheap

Buy a Molex-Y adapter.
Buy a 3 device IDE cable.

Follow the tutorial.
Unless you do some modifications to the HD and/or the DVD trays, you will probably have your new HD sitting outside the xbox on a static protected bag.

I recently did this, and trust me, its worth the time and effort.
