Hello all - Sorry it may be a little late for some of you, but hopefully this can help anyone else who has not updated yet. Time zones and all.

Important
There have been a lot reports of people having trouble upgrading to 9.0 with choidujourNX when using SX 2.9... Please just stay on 8.1.0 until further notice while we look into what is going on.

As we get more info and troubleshooting is done, I will update this thread.

For the people that we already updated to 9.0.0 and 2.9 SX OS but we get stuck in the black screen this will be fixed in an update of SX OS or my switch is already bricked and dead?

Dear boss, hello. I am a SX PRO user from China. In our case, after updating 2.9 in sxos yesterday, many people directly updated the 9.0 firmware because of the high recognition of TX. Basically, many people have a black screen. The success of the update also appeared that xci could not read directly, including the advanced xci made with nscb. In China, we have a high degree of trust in TX and hope to solve it as soon as possible. Thank you very much.

If you have updated and have a black screen. I turned it off pulled out sd card, put in computer, then manually copied new 2.9 boot.dat from website. Put sd back in switch and was success. Try it, might work for you too.

Dear brother, hello. I received a late message with the new 2.9 boot. Because I have joined some game exchange groups here, I know that there will be an error in the upgrade. I now let it remain at TX2.8+CFW8.1. Later, I learned that some people on our China forum have successfully upgraded. However, they cannot run integrated XCI (app+upd+dlc). Some of them say they can run the original XCI, while others can't run any XCI. Do you have this situation?

I have been playing handheld so haven't noticed. But just tried to load xci's from HDD and no xci's will load. Bummer. Well the kids are playing my cartrage of Link's Awakening at the moment but after that, I guess it's time for a downgrade. I have been running OFW 9.0.0 and Emu 8.1.0 for a week without problems. So if your people in China want to upgrade OFW but keep CFW at 2.8.1 they should be ok.

Well I really wish you guys would've put a warning message on the "9.0 is now fully supported" page since I got the locked-up Choidujour, black screen after boot, and the same black screen even after restoring from my 8.0.1 NAND backup. Thankfully the emunand seems to have saved me from bricking.

those who have had problems updating to version 9, restoring your copies of the nand of a previous version or using Kosmos cfw to use choidujourNX and install the firmware 8.10 is the only way to revive own switch

And that will preserve the save data?

There is a solution, search Google:
"SX OS 2.9.0 - Update Firmware"
Watch the video and voila. -https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ej5m9kB60r4-
You need to restore boot 0 & 1

I have a copy of boot0 and boot1 but I don't know how to restore to Emunand. I think it just restores Sysnand. Any ideas?
