So I haven't used my Switch for a while and it is on 6.0.1 firmware
I upgraded to 2.9.2 and all went well. Then I upgraded to 2.9.3 beta and I couldn't boot... I tried holding the power button for 15 sec and then tried again with no luck
At the end I restored boot.dat to 2.9.2 and once I plugged in the dongle it booted ..

Now I am about to upgrade using ChoiDujour but I am unsure to which version I should go...

My best bet is to go to 9.0.0 and then upgrade to 2.9.3 beta and then upgrade to 9.1.0... Does it make sense...

And one last question - what is the led on the bottom of the dongle and what is the micro usb port used for?

Thanks

Yes it makes sense, 2.9.3 beta is the onlu one supporting OFW 9.1.0

The led i don't really know what the blinks means, but i have noticed when booting it first gices a green blink, then a blue and then a solid green
My best guess is the first green blink means the console boot to rcm, the blue, payload injecting, and the solid green might mean SXOS boots

The micro USB port is to charge the dongle, you should hopefuly have gotten a USB A to micro USB cabel with your dongle
