i would like to report an issue i detected with sx core. It's draining the battery when the nintendo switch is completely off. According to my statistics, it drains about 2% per day without any use
My N. switch it's almost brand new, my battery has no more than 8 charges. Not a big deal but it's there and I just wanted to report it. Regards
😉

Are you saying that if your Switch is full battery and you let it rest for 50 days without playing, the battery will be empty..? Crazy! 😳

Did you already try to do the same with a smartphone, a camera or a laptop? Give it a try, you might be surprised... 🙄

I already did the same test on my switch (before the sx core installation) and the drain was around 3% during a month with no use at all. Sure dude... crazy

Hum, with this thread, this is a total of 3 people who complained about it. But reading the text, 2 of them seem related.

Yes, you also can boot into genuine boot and power off normally from OFW.

I have a v1 with trinket modchip and it has same fault... I think it's an sxos related issue, not modchip.

SXOS doesn't power off the console properly

I've compared the current draw on a Lite with SX Lite installed vs without SX Lite installed, scoping the voltage drop with a 0.25 ohm resistor in series on the battery positive rail. Used latest SXOS 3.0.4 with latest SX Lite firmware.

Selecting "Power off" from the Nintendo OS menu and then waiting a few seconds gives the same current draw of nothing for both modded and unmodded Lite. So it looks there's not really a battery drain issue using SXOS on a SX Lite.

So I'm not seeing any issue here
