SX Core successfully installed... next steps?

Hello all,

My SX Core is in the mail and I'm eager to install it on my Switch V2.
I have soldering experience and the right tools to do it, but someone know about a video showing someone else performing the installation? (just to double check)

Additionally, this is my first time with SX OS, any guide available with all the steps needed to install and activate it once the mod is done?

Put the latest SX OS beta firmware on your switch make a dump / backup from your current version of your switch.
Then use DNS for every Internet Connection

• Set ‘Primary DNS’ to ‘163.172.141.219’
• Set ‘Secondary DNS’ to ‘45.248.48.62’

use tinfoil / aka "*** Shop" for anonymization and the download of ...

hello i received this chip from a third party site. I doubt the originality of the products. I started to solder the tablecloth v2. I realized that the chip was not identical to the original there are missing components on my chip which had this problem. who can help me please thank you

I am still on 9.2 OFW. Will the SXOS 2.9.4 work with sxcore or I need to update to 10.0.0.4 before installing sxcore?

you can still upgrade after the installtion of the SX Core or lite
So that you dump your current firmware on 9.2 and safe the fuse.
Later you can upgrade via ChoiDujourNX

There are different versions of SX Core and SX lite out there. Our product can be different because the first pictures are from test units and they have changed some things after there testing.

No, dont update with ChoiDujourNX using SX Core or it will brick your Switch.

I updated my Switch on Firmware 9.4 to 10.0.4 and everything worked perfect...

the brick is for older Versions of SX OS
Do not use ChoiDuJour with SX Core and SX OS 3.0 until a solution is available!

at the lastest beta 3.0.2 it worked perfectly they have patched something now.

So DONT use dont use ChoiDuJourNX with SX OS 3.0 or lower.
It only works with the latest 3.0.2 for me.

I think we cant mention software piracy here but there are different webpages online and some of them offering gdrive links which are very fast. Also the *** Shop is very easy to use. Switch-xci or any other page with VPN works perfect for me

I've installed it with 10.0.4 no problem.

Regarding the videos... you don't need them honestly... you need a lot of patience, a steady hand, triple check everything and FLUX, a lot of FLUX

So I backed up my sysnand, created an Emunand, activated SX OS license... but when I boot CFW with Emunand, the Nintendo logo shows up and then the switch shuts off (no light on SX core). What am I doing wrong?

Do I have to use an older version of SX OS (3.0.2 currently) with my 7.0.1 NAND?

How long did your nand dump take? And what file system are you using on your microsd?

Just finished installing my SX Core and got the green light. What should my next steps be? I'm waiting on a new microSD to arrive on Friday so can't do anything just yet.

My official firmware was 7.1.0, didn't update before installing. I never play online, but realize some of the newer games will require a newer firmware so how do I go about updating this? First time in the switch modding scene so be gentle lol

I'm not 100% sure it's safe, but it was the only thing I could do. It wouldn't boot any other way. I removed the microSD card after the nintendo switch logo (during OFW boot) in case nintendo checks the contents of your SD card

The device shutdown when you remove the sd card. So i don t understand how you have made it ?

I'm from Germany. A friend improved my Switch LITE with the Xecuter SX LITE. Unfortunately I don't know what to do next ... Install games ... Homebrew ... Cheats. Can someone help me please?
