SX CORE (V1) - Stuck on Nintendo Boot Up Logo

Hope someone can help me here, I've installed the SX Core (V1) and I can boot into the SX OS 3.0.2 (Firmware Version v1.1). But whenever I click on "Boot custom FW" or "Boot original FW" it boots up to the Nintendo Logo and then it just gets stuck there.

Things I've tried;
  • Reseat the NAND on the mod chip
  • Different SDCards (exFat and FAT32)
  • Used SX OS 3.0.0 and 3.0.1, same result
  • Used SX OS 2.X.X give me the "BOOT.DAT?" screen
  • Dumped NAND and RESTORE
  • REPAIR GPT
  • CREATE EmuNAND
  • Boot using (EmuNAND enabled and disabled)
  • Boot into hekate_ctcaer_5.3.0.bin via the Payloads works. But can't boot anything else there.
My Switch is the Smash Brothers Bundle which is updated to OFW 9.1.0.

I'm not sure what else I can do or try. I've tried searching for how to use the "Debug Port" on the mod chip but can't find anything.

Is my Switch a goner?

I have exactly the sample problem but with Mariko V2.
Stuck in switch logo screen. SX core boots fine.

Installation went smoothly the first time round. Got to boot screen, but was not able to boot neither CFW or OFW.
What I did:

- I unplugged the CPU ribbon from the modchip pcb and the effect is the same - switch logo stuck
- I plugged back the nand chip directly to mobo - and the effect is the same cannot boot - stuck on the switch logo
it would appear as if the nand was damaged / corrupted somehow

I was able to make a NAND backup using SX OS, but i suspect it might be also corrupt
I restored the NAND to no effect.

Basically the console is unusable at this point

i have installed the USB debug port - and i am wondering if there's a procedure that can restore the nand to original FW?

Before installing, your Switch was booting fine right? Maybe somehow you damaged the nand chip while installing or as you said your nand chip might be corrupt.

I have exactly the same problem as you, mine is eirsta v1 patched....... i am suffering trapped on switch boot logo no matter what..... all stuck OFW/CFW ..... not even able to get my biskeys.... i suspect the nand corruption, have tried all fixes biskeydump v9 and lockpick.bin but not able to get all keys....... i hope we can restore the nand with the debug port on the sx core and i hope that Xecuter take a serious close look at this problem since many more folks will surface with the same issue, it is a random luck to pass or no pass, which is no go for me especially holding many core in hand but loosing a console is very annoying, would you connect to Xecuter chat server and explain what is wrong? --> https://xecuter.rocks/
Mine is the same problem, stuck at Switch logo
you've installed sx core and stuck with the same issue as below:

I've got the exact same problem.

Stuck on the nintendo switch logo after booting in either custom or original fw with sx core. I'm on 10.0.0.4 firmware and on the latest sxos.

Can't use my switch :(

Ok I think I found why.
I broke a capacitor on the side of the cpu shield, close to one of the radiator screw hole.
It looks like a 0201 0.1uF. I will have to order one and change it.

Hello,

I broke a capacitor on SP2 bridge too, but my switch and sx core always work. But I want to add one. Do you know the reference of this capacitor? Can I just replace with one with the same size that I found on my Samsung Galaxy S2? Thanks for your reply

Dont use capacitors from phones or any other elecetronics. They all have different properties.

is it hard to tell the solution here? Why go to discord:

Here is the solution why some of you guys stuck at Nintendo Joy-Con logo:
Those that are having 'stuck on joycon logo' issues after installing their sx core, a solution seems to have been found theres attached this close-up corner of the erista motherboard with the area you should check, this two parts can be easy damaged when removing the nvidia metal shield and replacing it back. The Mariko motherboard also has similar two caps in that same area as highlighted in the erista photo below. Click Image to see it.

Hello, so do you know how I can get a good capacitor for my Switch? It is the one on the SP2 bridge (V2 sx core). Can we let the switch run without this capacitor? Thanks very much.

Does your Switch works without the capacitors on SP2? Did you really check that the capacitor is gone?

Yes the switch and sx core work normally. The capacitor is really gone. Without a capacitor is better than a bad one I think?
