Everyone calm down. Yes the other cfw are already compatible but SX-OS has nearly everything integrated. It's understandable that it will take a while longer.
If your really that desperate you might want to think about getting a second nintendo switch, one for cfw and one that one can upgrade day one.
I agree to what some ppl are saying. SX seems to be constantly behind the curve. 8.1 was seriously buggy support. Especially if using exFat. None of this should be an issue for a paid service. Granted that most people are using it as piracy and shouldn't really complain, but still I regret buying this product with the horrible lack of support and proper updates. it has become a hassle to play even your own backups or even your own carts as most require the system to be updated even if kept offline. Example Super Smash Brothers. I updated it during 8.1 and my switch has not been online since, but all of a sudden it said requires a system update to play. It's like wtf how did it know. I'm seriously thinking of saying screw it and going with full normal NAND from here on out and sucking it up when it comes to HD upgrades or backups. It's obvious that Team Xecuter does not truely keep their customers in mind.
- Xecuter hasn't visited this forum for almost a month, it does made me worried a bit, although I am not sure how often he visits this forum
ExFat has nothing to do with SXOS, it's Nintendo's fault for having sh*tty drivers. That being said it's only related to home-brew, using the switch regularly it's fine. Every home-brew source and dev tells you this from the beginning, you should NEVER use ExFat when using CFW. There is literally zero reason to use it anyway, so don't.I agree to what some ppl are saying. SX seems to be constantly behind the curve. 8.1 was seriously buggy support. Especially if using exFat. I asked this question in discord, apparently game over didn't like me and I ended up bannedATMOS and other homebrew have been updated for 9.0 so do we have a eta for sx os support? plus any new features?
thanks
To each their own. Been using Atmosphere on 9.0.0 since it was updated and have had zero issues. Unless something goes horribly wrong with my current setup, I probably won't switch back now. I agree though, SX OS is great, just a little slow with the updates as I updated mine to 9.0.0 by a mistake and needed to rectify that.I asked this question in discord, apparently game over didn't like me and I ended up banned
Before I was a user of sx I was an atm and the truth would never return to atm.
Sx os (and despite the discord admins) is the best cfw I've ever had.
I am at 8.1 and will continue to wait without any hurry for the update.
I don't think so, friend, but the truth is that there is no reason to go to 9.0, at least not yet. There is no game that requires it although I understand that many play online, also being able to enjoy a complete catalog day by day is not so bad. Patience I am sure that the update will come out soonIt looks like the team xecuter stop in the development of new functions, though it just keep updating the Tinfoil clone and sometimes the cartridge dumper... I spend my money here to support because I really think it's important help.
But maybe my last comment was like 4 or 6 months ago... and no new features yet.
At least they don't let us alone.
