Hello,
will it be possible to have an option to choose between 2 modes?
One complete like the one already in the sx os and one with just the list of xci files, no installer, license or another tab.

This way, kids can't install or change settings, just choose between the xci files.

Thanks.

This could be achieved in a way by using Emunand and installing NSP's. I have this setup for my 4yr old. Setup emunand(tutorials here just search). I then use the CFW side(Nintendo folder) and install the things I want, then start Emunand and install the NSP's for him. Emunand default settings is to automatically boot unless you change so less chance of him getting into my side. NSP's can be started from main screen so no need for them to enter SX menu. Good Idea to set themes different on CFW and Emunand so easily verify which one. WARNING even with theses separated homebrew will still be available for both so best to remove any NRO that may cause damage. Good idea to get smaller card and put utilities on it only.
This may be something TX could add by putting a passcode setting on Homebrew start process that could be enabled.

Yeah this will be a very great freature.

Is like a parental lock in sx os. With that the kids can not edit setting or Brick the switch. The kids can only launch the xci

Honestly would be useful to a lot of users besides kids.
Not being mean but some adults only need limited access. It would at least make them think "Am I sure I want to do this"

Nice.
In fact with the exception of the games tab, any other menu could ask for password. Great idea!
