I'm gonna stay on the fw I have now, until they confirm that the 9.0.1 fw works.
What confirmation are you waiting for? This is a official topic and people are telling you that it works. It just doesn't support every feature yet. Nsp and xci installed work so far.

SX OS 2.9.1 DOES NOT WORK on firmware 9.0.1 for me. Just a Black Screen!

I just bought a switch that isn't patched (Low serial number) and I also bought the SX Pro, The switch is on 9.0.1 official firmware version, so I loaded my sd card with the latest SX OS version 2.9.1 and used my SX Pro to boot into SX OS menu and that worked, but after I clicked Launch CFW, the switch doesn't boot and it displays a black screen and I can not boot the switch at all unless I hold the power button for 15 sec to do a reset.

Here is the weird thing, If I remove the license file from the SD card and still use SX OS version 2.9.1, it boots and I can get into the album (SX OS Menu) but I can't do anything because it says I don't have a license. So it seems that when I use my license (which is valid, I activated it online and I got a green text saying it succeeded but after I restarted it always gave the black screen) it freezes the system, but without the license file, it boots CFW fine.

I just got the switch so I don't have any backups for my NAND nor any EMUNANDS installed on the SD Card, and I'm worried to create a NAND backup using the SX OS Menu in case it crashes and bricks the system, so what do I do? Do I return the SX Pro and ask for a refund and Switch to Atmosphere? or will Team Xecuter be able to fix this?

@Hackerjac Any idea for the black screen I'm getting in my post above? could the license file be causing the black screen?
Try to remove autorcm. Most people getting Blackscreen are stuck on autorcm after boot into cfw. So was I in the beginning.

Just remove autorcm. But before that make a nand backup. It just doesn't brick you Switch that easily. You're making that backup for this case btw. Without that backup you will have a hard time restoring your Switch If it bricks. With the backup you can always boot with the sx pro dongle and restore the nand.

Until now the only thing that has been comfirmed is 2.9.1 is working on fw 9.0.0 with some bugs :)
