Hey guys, Im a bit stressed out that my switch is not booting right now and I'm hoping anyone has a solution to this.
First, I updated the SX OS version to the latest beta, 2.9.5. After a successful reboot, I updated the switch firmware to 10.0.1. After this, my switch no longer reboots. I tried everything. The only indication that my switch is not dead is this:
I hold the power button for about 15 seconds and then inject the payload. SX OS banner comes up, adn a few seconds later a batter indicator shows up. After that, there's nothing. I feel like my switch is still running after that because it is a bit warm. Is there any way to fix this or know what is happening? I've attached a video of this below:
OK, I did some digging and found out the mistake I did. While updating the firmware I chose Fat32. But my SD card is in ExFAT. Any idea how to fix it now? I managed to boot into the original firmware for now. While that SX OS Logo came, I pressed the + button to bring up the bootloader menu. Then booted into the original firmware.
