SX Pro License code invalid!

My SX Pro arrived today and I can not get this thing to work.

1. Samsung 256gb sd card. (shipped from Samsung directly)
2. Formatted the sd card to exFat
3. Created License-request.dat
4. Tried to retrieve license online with Switch and I get an invalid License code.
5. Tried to upload the license-request directly to xecuter website to generate a license and once again it says my code is invalid.

I have no idea what to do to get this damn thing working. How can my code be invalid when the dongle is supposed to have my license on it?

I also noticed on the xecuter page it says I am using SX Lite. My Switch says SX Pro License code.

I'm a reseller in Thailand "Ethereal Gaming". Some of my customers are also having this same issue. I have 18 SX Pros sold out to different customers, now I got report that 6 of those are invalid. Already tried all the instructions but still didn't work. So I already emailed the team many times and the latest email I received is


"Ok i will forward your email to the dev team as this is not usual for users to report problems activating the pro.If they have tried the normal steps and failed and also uploaded the license request.dat to the website and still failed then something is wrong.
It would appear that its already been activated on another system as its pre loaded no one else have emailed me with not been able to activate the pro."


There's something weird about what he's saying that no one else have emailed him with not being able to activate the SX Pro. Really ? What about this post ? What about the other posts ?
And how would it appear that it's already been activated on another system since I just received the items one day before shipping out to my customers ?
There's a guy commented on the other post saying that "I read the manual and I'm having the exact same issue. It's not a problem with the user, something is wrong on their end. Several other users having this issue today as well."
I couldn't agree more with what he said. So now I'm still waiting for his response, I will keep you guys update.

I'm having the same issue activating the SX Pro today, but after trying activating online with the switch I tried to retrieve the license-request.dat file from the microSD Card to try the upload method but the file is it's not in the SD card. 128GB Card was formatted by the Switch with exFAT, I'm able to write to it with no issues. I get the message saying "Success the license-request.dat file has been saved to your SD card", so now I'm confused... Any ideas?

Email [email protected] and they should fix the issue quickly. I emailed them yesterday at 4:44pm and they replied at 5:08pm.

Their first reply was asking me to attach my request-license.dat to them. After I sent that to them they replied 2 mins later saying it was fixed and I can activate online as normal from my Switch.

Let's give them till tomorrow to reply back, if not I will give it a try. Thanks

The issue I see with mine is that no license-request.dat file gets copied over to the mciroSD card, so of course it can't activate.
Not sure where the problem is, but I'm unable to use this. I have contacted support on the website and to the [email protected] but no response yet :frown:

I just got a new switch as my other one was defective. I understand that my SX Pro is linked to the old unit that was returned and replaced under warranty. I contacted reseller and they said I need to buy another SXPro? I have a receipt/invoice that clearly states unit returned - defective and a new unit issued, Why should I need to buy a new SXPro?

How do I do that?
Reseller told me I needed to buy new SX
SX is just a software license, the SX Pro is the license and the dongle.

so you're looking at like $35 for a new license.

Ok sweet so find someone selling SX license and pay money then I am back on deck.
So license isnt connected to dongle at all just console

Correct. The dongle comes with a license built in. But you are not forced to use that license and can use the dongle on multiple Switch consoles in order to push the payload and access the cfw. Each Switch would have to have it's own purchased license of course.

Hello i ve the same issue
i cant activate my sx pro, on the os it say alredy in use and on internet it say, look like you using sx lite, please enter liscence code... Please help me
