SXOS Skipping Splash Menu

I don't know if my SX OS is faulty or something, but my Switch keeps skipping the screen where I can choose which firmware to boot from and going straight into CFW. Is this some kind of error? Am I pressing for too long or something?

Sometimes the bootloader will only show blue and then power off. I redo the jig and bootloader and then blue to green will finally show for the LED, it will show the logo and then skip the initial menu before booting into CFW.
Weird, it seems to work when I charge the bootloader for longer. Since it turns green, I usually push it in the Switch right away. In reality, it needs more time to truly charge I guess.

Holding the VOL+ button until it boots completely will bring up the SXOS menu. Letting go after pushing power it will boot to CFW and with "Emunand enabled" straight to Emunand

The bootloader capacitors need a few seconds longer to charge. They do get slower charging over time in some cases.

I've had this for over a year and this whole time I've been smashing the power button and Vol Up button simultaneously to turn the thing on. This has caused weird delays and failed boots. It made me wonder why it has to be so hard and uncomfortable to boot.

After reading this and through the manual again, all I had to do is tap the Power button once while holding Vol Up... I feel like an idiot. Thanks again!

Don't feel bad I actually was doing the same at first. One of those little odd things no one really mentions.
