$systemupdate folder on the xbox 360 hdd

I accidently deleted it! what does it do?

It's not vital and there's no harm in deleting it.
Once you run an update on your console, It will reappear.

Is it just somewhere, where game updates get stored etc...??

I take it I wont see it again as Its on my jtag system and I dont ever update it anyway.
