RGH systemupdate to reinstall avatars

hi,
just glitched a slim, working perfectly but cant install systemupdate 14699 to reinstall avatars.

I updated to 14699 before glitching (avatars working)
glitched with multibuilder 0.7 and installed dashlaunch (option 1 when building nandflash.bin)

Ive tried every combination of $systemupdate you can think of but it will not install avatars.

heres a screenshot, Ive even tried two different systemupdates at a time to see if it will pick it up. Ive tried different usb sticks & still nothing

anyone have any ideas ?

nope, nothing mate. Im pulling my hair out with this

someone mentioned a while ago that they went into xex menu and deleted the system update from the Hd and then tried to install the systemupdate and it succeeded.
Is that correct ? i dont want do anything that may brick the console

tried that as well mate, still nothing. Im gonna flash back original nand to see if avatars are still working, then go from there

I've noticed issues with dashlaunch 2.29 and have had to revert a couple back to 2.27 recently (my Son's JTAG for one).

I've noticed issues with dashlaunch 2.29 and have had to revert a couple back to 2.27 recently (my Son's JTAG for one).

Been using 2.27 since I have had many issues with 2.29, specially causing many FSD crashes, odd booting, and many other "anomalies".

Your not alone, 2.29 did my head in! Every time I signed in FSD the console forze. I later found out I had to block live on the console with the parental settings and as for the content unlocking I sorted that by disabling the content patcher in that big list of different things it asks, seems all good for now touch wood.

Now I always build my image with now dashlaunch and just put it on my self later when I know its all working. Hope you get it sorted dale.

delete or rename launch.ini first, off console then plug in fat32 flashdrive into the USB slot at the back of console and power on

Not sure about yours man, but that's how I fixed my avatars after flashing 14699
