RGH systemupdate to reinstall avatars

I know exactly what his problem is. His xbox360 will not detect the system update on his usb. Unless i get it wrong. Then please explain it to me.

i know how to install avatars and so does the op but its being blocked by the console and a faulty dashlaunch and your failing to grasp this. i don't know how else to put it.

OK,

Ive managed to fix avatars.

I flashed back original nand (thanks Martin C for suggestion) and every thing was there, avatars, kinect etc.
so I created .ecc image again flashed that to mobo. created new nandflash image (without dashlaunch) and flashed that. system now boots into hacked dash with avatars.
So it was dashlaunch causing the problem.

Im now creating nandflash without dashlaunch and will be adding it later, just in case I need to do system update after hacked dash

There's nothing wrong with the dashlaunch being added, but remember it adds it to FLASH: when you build. Check to make sure you've not edited this in any way. Better still, replace the lflash.xex and lhelper.xex in the build with the files from 2.27

My solution:
- disable $systemupdate blocking in DashLaunch.
