Playing with RGH 2.0 on a Falcon now. Figured I would start with a Falcon since they are the best glitchers. Unfortunately it's not booting...yet. I am getting successful glitches every 5 seconds but no luck getting into Xell. Have tried both xsvf's.

Has anyone done this on a Falcon yet with success?

Yeah I'm working on my falcon right now, it works fine just takes longer (normaly ~2m+)

I have put an adjustable resistor and by doing many tests, in my case at 16ohm I get most of the time a boot around 30-35sec, Using the B file.
Remember that the glitch will work better when you put it in it's metal case (don't forget top)

The problem isn't getting the xell & cpu key (well in my case), the problem is when I make dash 14719 with RGH2 using the posted files I get 3 red light error 0022

EDIT: When I open RGH 14719 file with flash dump tool the CB is 5772, the original CB from my dump is 5773

Uber, in the nfo its pretty clear that for now this is a solution ONLY for those who unfortunately have updated to the latest dash

And that its not as reliable as the first RGH

But how cracky RGH 2.0 is on updated phat in your experience?

Is the CAP fix (using 680pf, 100nf, etc on CPU_PLL) still useful to get better times on those pesky jaspers?

Right now even i get a bad jasper that will boot within 1min, a simple 680pf cap usually turn the boot to instant. This with RGH 1 of course

In your experience how are things right now with the RGH 2.0?

still waiting for jed file...anybody can provide this file because i program my coolrunner with xilinx and lpt cable, or someone can tell me how to program or convert xsvf file without x-nand

Why not just get ahold of a liteon drive, stick it in, update, and carry on as normal?

I actually tried and it was doing the loop until I declined the update. It was giving me errors updating without the drive and with a non-matching drive.

I already lost countless hours with phats at the start when there were no cap fix etc lol

For now will only use RGH 2.0 for those who lost dvd key etc.... for 24/7 usable glitch will wait for the new coolrunner rev board that im sure will be stable

The sheer fact that im seen people with falcon booting within 40s~2m range creeped me out...

I never ever got a single falcon that didnt boot instant with RGH

Just did a Falcon V2 right now and as instant as it gets

Usually means your LDV is wrong.

0022 comes in rgh2 for the same reasons as rgh1.

Ie. Poor soldering, wrong ldv, all human error

I've been doing this for ages now so I know good about the glitch, I cut the boot timer down to around 30sec and I got xell np. Now the thing I don't understand is it uses cb5772 while the original is 5773, I don't think since we already use for exemple 6750 cb on jaspers with cb 6751.... The LDV is correct

What CB do you think we use on slims which are on 14719? I'll give you a clue - not the same as what's on a retail.

With RGH2.0 you can now get the CPU key to build the image needed.

Check out my reply I said: "I don't think since we already use for exemple 6750 cb on jaspers with cb 6751" so yeah I know how it goes, but for RGH2 I wasn't sure. Now the problem is: your system doesn't work out to create rgh dash, not by following exactly the informations you gave anyway, now don't need to be mean i thank you for all the hard work man.
Anyway i'll be doing more tests and find out what's going on
