And here is how I solved it, the cbb5773 wasn't right. Got another one and worked (not one from the tx .rar). Got the glitch down from 3m to 5sec,

Now like i'm not bitchy I'll tell you how.
First make sure you use big enough cable for GND & 3,3v,
Next use an adjustable resistor on CPU_RST and (in my case on falcon) target 16Ohm.
Then adjust Vcc output of your CPLD to exactly 1.65v (use an adjustable regulator diagram, regulator + adjustable resistor + 2 caps)
Make sure you have your motherboard in the metal case with the metal top on.
From over 3m boots to ~5sec boot on falcon
I find it funny that you are trying to teach Xecuter how to design hardware :p

Thanks for your input though - I am interested only in your comments regarding 5773 CB which we will look at

Edit: Checked the loaders and they are all good - so no problem in our pack (we also don't supply 5773 for xebuild images - but i guess thats why you got yours from elsewhere)

I should add that the schematic solutions you posted are not universal - they are simply the settings that work for you on the hardware that you use - it will be different for everyone - but I'm sure you know this of course. This is also why we tell everyone to play with their setups and tweak their own settings - so im sure others will appreciate your input.

Uber in the other rgh2 thread you mentioned Slim improvements, but this release is Phat-only. Is there an improved version of RGH regarding Slims? Or you're keeping it for Coolrunner2? Also does TX plan to release VHDL sources?

With RGH2.0 you can now get the CPU key to build the image needed.
this has already been answered 4 posts before you made this one (and its also very clear in the original release nfo)

the whole point of RGH2 is that you can get the CPU key using Xell with the latest dash

I think the problem is some of you guys dont speak English very well and it gets lost in translation :(
Thanks so much Marcus and uber, yes me (and someone other) wrong thinK about the new rgh 2.0, becouse we think the new rgh can get automatic the cpu key from the NAND image backup whitout need to make the xell procedure....

But yes is a stupid idea (becouse if same this sure in the file package not neex xell folder) and also a wrong translation...

Now after Marcus ans über explain this for us is so better ill go update my news at ita360com website :p

Now we need also the xecuter demon so much for live! :p

The new slim hack was already released a couple of weeks ago.

Why would Xecuter release VHDL sources ?

The last time I checked Xecuter was a business not a charity. The ONLY people who would benefit from sources are those who simply want to copy TX's products and make money on the back of TX's developments without doing any real work themselves or giving any credits whatsoever. Mentioning no names.

After the official CR2 comes out can I buy a DEV version? I just want to use on a case mod I'm doing in the near future.
Dev versions arent just expensive because they're rare....

Because they are on a VERY limited run, they cost a fair bit to fabricate, too.

A few pages back, I was reading that some people were having trouble updating a console with no dvd drive or an incorrect key. I don't remember where I read it, but you can take a regular (unflashed if I remember right) Samsung drive and the update works fine. I keep one unflashed just in case I need it, and just about an hour ago, I updated a zephyr console (missing key and drive) to 14719. Again, if I remember right, you have to update to 13599 or 13604 if you don't have the right key, then continue to the 14719 update. I personally haven't had any problems doing it this way.
TX - guys, you are amazing! It sucks that RGH 2.0 couldn't have been fully optimized before the leak, but I have complete faith. If you need a console, let me know, I'm sure I can scrounge one up real fast (got a connection with a video game store in my town)! Good luck with the rest of the new goodies, and I will (hopefully) be one of the first orders of the DemoN!

Most of the posts regarding the missing keys stated they had already updated to the latest dash. So flashing to 13599 would be out of the question.

I realize this.
Ok, then I have to add, then they arent *ever* for sale unless some dev is selling his.

It's like an XDK, limited numbers, never publically available, even if someone does sell one they shouldnt be.

Except, theyre MFR'd in volumes of 1-10 not 1000's like XDK's

Why I was asking. I'm wanting to mount it on top of a case mod. For a display.

I have dev hardware that sits in a box and is unlikely to ever be used again.

I have a ck3-cp in the cupboard and dont run a desktop machine ....

Owning dev hw for the sake of it is stupid, owning it becaused you used it for dev, isnt.
