So, like many other people, I've been thinking about using a multiple hard drive solution with a switch. I actually came back to the website to see whether there were any high enough quality pics of the soon-to-be-released X3CP that I would be able to tell if it would live in happiness with the X-Tender product that I was considering purchasing.
Reading the forums here, I have learned two things - the X-Tender appears to be a piece of sh*t, based on the anecdotal evidence. People buying drives that don't work with it? WTF is that?
I've also learned that Team Xecuter has seen a market for another high-quality mod that they can whip the competition with, and that they are planning to address that market in due course. Now that I know that Xecuter is going to be marketing theirs, there is no question that I will patiently wait for the mod to become available and purchase it once it is.
In the meantime, I'd like to go ahead and purchase a larger hard drive for the XBox, but I'm a bit leery because of all the problems others have had with the X-Tender (which, I have noted above, is a piece-of-sh*t).
So the question is: Xecuter - Is there any reason, knowing what you know about your plans and the XBox hardware, that any given drive or combination of drives shouldn't work with a properly designed HDD switching product? I expect both answers will be 'No', but better to ask than to find out the hard way.
Thanks for your insight.
