I think they are usually a bit cooler. Did you try to play games, and then get a reading? That might give a better picture, if something is actually needed to cool it further. Shouldn't be though..
yeah, thats what they are supposed to. Im not sure if playing a couple of minutes (more like an hour) tells that much. Did you make any cooling modifications, that could harm the airflow?
Can you adjust it, with the talismoon and XCM fans? They are connected to the 12V DVD point, right?

I don't know why my cpu temp is higher than my gpu. Tried using cpu heatsink from jasper but it increase the temp instead. Xenon CPU heatsink's better than cpu heatsink from other model.
I attached fans to the side of the heatsinks but they didn't make much difference in temps.
In another forum, there reported "normal" temp range is 55 to 70C.

What's the danger of using the 12v from the dvd drive pin out?
It was 36c without the casing Some thinks that microsoft can detect, when power is being drawn from the DVd-drive. Which can result in a ban.

Mine is jtagged anyway so it will be ban instantly. I read here about xmods commenting to stay away from dvddrive 12v pin. I get the impression that it may mess the power allocation to the drive, idk really.Since you've already done the 12V fan mod, changing the fan speed setting won't have any effect.uh oh i did it for a friend idk if he got banned already because of this.
