Testing a falcon motheroard

Hi,
I've been given a good (well hopefully) falcon board and a drive key on a bit of paper, it may of been a liteon drive. Anway I just wondered if I was to spoof it to a spare benq (I haven't got a liteon) drive it would stop it getting flagged like it does if you power it up without a drive? I don't want to use it just want to check the dash version. I think it'll conflict with the osig, but just wondered what your thoughts are?

I done a search but cant find what I need really.

Dump the nand and jrunner should tell you it's cb and dash version etc
then you can glitch it to xell to get the cpu key and find out exactly what drive it needs.

Just build a BenQ FW with the DVD key from the lite-on. Should be no need to spoof.
