Testing soldering with a multimeter

My soldering is pretty poor so I want want to test the joints with a multimeter. I have found where to test the joints on all the QSBs apart from the J1F1. The two outer solder points don't seem to make a connection with anything. Can somebody please explain how I can test these two joints?

i dont think the 2 outer points are even relevant because in the old method with the wires them 2 holes arent even used. id wait for confirmation though mate.
