the 2913 bios erased my game saves

hi

today i just flashed my x3 to the new bios thinking its going to be really good, okay so i flashed it and it doesnt look like it changed but i want to keep updating my bios anyway so its cool.

anyway.....i come to play burnout 3 and it says game save unusable so i go on the xbox scene forum and look what i find ( i am not used to this forum and dont know how to make a link so you can just copy and pase this in your web browser.)

if you didnt look at this it just shows that other people are having this problem and like me they want team xecuter to fix them.

my burnout 3 save is quiet importand to me so i was thinking if the bios then i will just reflash back the the 1959 and it will be okay but nope still unusable.


if you have the same problem as me please post what game you have the problem with.

If you want the skin to look different you need to enable it from the options. Otherwise after the flash the bios looks the same as v1959

Your Lucky It erased my whole drive and any other drive I plug into it... and won't let me put back the old bios.....

well there is another way to flaah it other than from the hdd, even if you cant load the os!

I flashed to the new bios with no problems with any of my saved games, plus you should have backed up your games via FTP from your previous BIOS.

You have to ATLEAST be able to get to FlashBIOS in order to flash the chip with anything. If you can get to FlashBIOS you can flash via HTTP, CD/DVD.

My saves are fine. I did have that problem though when I tried transferring saves from a X2 box to my current X3 box. They were all corrupted for whatever reason. Fine this time around

Did you modify the game saves in anyway?
