My kids have a White Skylanders Xbox 360 which I believe has a Corona v4 motherboard. The problem is that the internal 4GB Memory has gone bad. It will not reformat, save, etc... This has put it into a "loop" on XBox live. It will try to download the latest update (gives no choice of where to put this update, so I can't send it to a USB memory stick), fail, reboot, try to update again, fail, etc....
What I want to do is open up the 360 and remove the bad 4GB of memory, I have the 360 apart and found out it does NOT have the "clip on" 4GB internal memory like I expected. Is this 4gb memory removeable? If so, where would I find it. I can not identify it on the motherboard and I have taken everything off except the heat sink and I am having issues removing it and would like to avoid that if the 4GB is not under it. Any help, clues, ideas?
