The box only turns on by using the Eject button

Hi guys.

I've got an v16 box with X3 installed. It looks lite its alright. I have flashed memory bank 1 with the 2913 v16plus.bin bios.

Anyway.

I only get to access the box when I use the Eject button. When I use the power button I get the red execuer light and the MS dash is starting and I get the error screen (you need to service the box blah blah).

When I am using the eject button it works fine (other than it will open the eject tray) its pretty anoying..

Anyone got any good ideas?

hmmm....sorry guys...false alarm...I didn't catch the tapping vs pressing thing.

So I guess my problem now is that when pressing the button and wanting to start the MS dash its not possible. It runs into the Service page...

Have you locked your HD?

yeah, lock your hd and that should solve your problem.
