Hey guys,

I have a 2004 Crystal Xbox and I soldered everything in place (Checked all the connections and even got my friend who does electronics for a living to check for me if everything was correct) and also put on the LED front control panel. When I tap the power button The Xecuter Logo is Blue but it immediately it turns off and then goes back again and turns off (So it turns off and on w/ the logo still BLUE twice) and on the third time the power stays on but the eject button flashes green/red.... And it doesn't go to the FlashBios menu so I can set-up the modchip configuration, or the Xbox Dashboard.....

What could be wrong?

Thanks!
Matt

What? The D0 is what tells the Xbox to boot from the chip, so it is not that.

Do you get any error messages after the third boot attempt?

No, its just the normal component 1 blank screen, no dashboard or flashbios configuration or any error messages. The Xecuter logo is blue (on the xbox, so it should be working) but the eject button flashes red/green... No error messages and the LED screen doesn't work as well. Some things that are puzzling:
1) The logo is blue (Which means the chip should be working
2) The eject button blinking red/green
3) No loading screen of any type (Like Xbox Dashboard or the Flashbios configuration menu)
4) SOME normal games (That I bought) work (Halo 2, NHL 2K5... But some don't: True Crimes, Star Wars Republic Commando...) Burnt games don't.
5) DVD player doesn't work...

Whats the dilio?

Oh and it turns on and off twice, and on the third time it stays on but the eject button again flashes red/green and there is NO error messages on the LED (as a matter of fact the LED screen doesn't even come on) or on my TV.... ????

Sounds like you've got an X3 and not an X2.x, so this isn't the right forum. The X2 series has a separate switch bank for enabling/disabling the mod, the X3 is controlled by the power and eject buttons except for bank selection.

What you're getting is a FRAG, one common problem is the solder joints. As said above, your D0 should be fine because it is attempting to turn on the mod. Somewhere here or on Xbox-scene.com there is a diagram showing the voltages on the different LPC points. Track these down, open up your box and compare.

Not sure if this would cause a FRAG or not, but be sure all the internal connectors are securely attached and properly seated. I know if these aren't in all the way they will cause problems, just can't say if the symptom is a FRAG.

It sounds like you were able to flash the chip, what bios did you put on there? What happens with the chip off? When the eject button is flashing, what is on the screen?

It is an X3 Chip, its just with a crystal front panel. there is no Bios that goes on. After going on and off twice the third time it stays on but the eject button flashes red/green, there is nothing on the TV (Should be the flashbios menu, but nothing appears).
